Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a concept whereby companies voluntarily integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and in their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis… Through CSR, enterprises of all sizes, in cooperation with their stakeholders, can help to reconcile economic, social and environmental ambitions…”
(Communication of the European Commission of 22.03.2006)

In our corporate vision, social responsibility is a source of competitiveness and sustainability in a context of creating long term value for all stakeholders (human resources, registered and unregistered shareholders, customers, suppliers, the community).

We therefore work constantly to promote and apply its principles in our strategic decisions and in our everyday operations, by accompanying our role as financial pivot of local economies with constant attention towards human resources and the social and natural environment in which our banks operate.

With the annual publication of our Social Report, we give an account of the initiatives we have undertaken, of the results achieved and of the new goals to be reached from the three economic, social and environmental viewpoints, consistently with the Group’s mission and corporate values.
